I do not consider myself to me of more importance than any other person on the planet, and I do not think I am a highly influential person.  I did not start my blog last October to create a brand for myself, and I am not motivated to make money off of it.  I got on to twitter and began dadblogging in order to connect with and learn from other dads. I wanted to know that the only guys trying hard to be men for their families were not just the men in churches.  I have found some great ones too.  Funny dads, dads who have been through trials, and dads who break from the expected molds.

Coming this Friday, November 11th, many of these dads are going to be in the same place, and it will be a great opportunity to link up with and connect to them.  Have-MOMentum is hosting a Rule the House Twitter party from  6-7 pm PST (I’m on the West Coast). We care encouraging dads to follow the #DadsRule hashtag and for moms to follow the #MomsRule hashtag along with the #RuleTheHouse hashtag.
