QUICK TIP:
Always shop the perimeter of the grocery store FIRST.
That is where all the REAL food it! Think about it – Breads, Meats, Dairy & Veggies are in a big semi-circle around the aisles! Load up on those (100% whole wheat/lean/low-fat/fresh) choices FIRST before heading to the aisles in the middle where everything is in a box, bag or can.
Of course your rices & spices & other healthy choices can be found there too… but if you start from the outside in your waistline will thank you!
